Life has been great aboard! Now that the boat is clean and we got some major things done, we are having a good time on the boat. We are now cooking and had some great meals, most mexican food, probably because we are so close to the border, we can see Tijuana from here. Our next projects are getting the head working properly and getting self suficient on energy, since now we are using power from the dock. As we can feel for last week, the next 4 years are going to be awesome.

First sail trip onboard Veleiro Canela
This Saturday we did the first sail trip on board Veleiro Canela after the officialization of the purchase. The passage was from the Marina in Chula Vista where the sail-boat is located, passing throughtout the Bay of San Diego and going three miles offshore. During all day the boat sailed very well and the engine and sails are in very good shape, what made us even more proud and satisfied. As you can see in the picture, we did a celebration passing under the bridge of Coronado and we are thankful for this moment that materialize the first step of a long journey.
We want to thanks for all support and confidence that we have received from our parents and friends and expect to be able to share these moments the possible maximum with you!
